     Rt Hon. Edward Boscawen was born before 19 August 1711.
     He was baptized on 19 August 1711.
     He married Frances Glanville, daughter of William Evelyn and Frances Glanville, in December 1742.
     He died on 10 January 1761 at Hatchland, SRY, ENG.
     He was buried in January 1761 at St Penkivel, CON, ENG, with a monument to him.

Other information

     Was Lord of the Admiralty, Admiral of the Blue, General of Marines, one of the Elder Brethren of the Trinity House, Member of Parliament for Borough of Truro (from 1742, and for Saltash from 1747) and one of his Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.
He commanded in chief the Expedition against Cape Breton, and with General Amherst took to Fortress of Louisbourg in July 1758. In August 1759 he fell in with the French fleet and took 3 ships of the line and burnt 2.
