     Oliver Glanville was born in September 1846 at Dodgeville, Iowa Co., WI, USA. He was born between 1844 and 1845 at WI, USA.
     He married Elizabeth Poad on 22 November 1871 at Mineral Point, Iowa Co., WI, USA, (when age calculated as 25 years and 2 months) his parents named Johnson and Mary Ann Glanville; hers John and Crisssandra Poad.
     He died on 2 November 1908 at Linden, Iowa Co., WI, USA, (when age calculated as 62); with obituary:
Oliver Glanville was born in the town of Dodgeville, Iowa county, Wisconsin, on the 21st day of Sept. A.D. 1844, and died suddenly at his home in Linden on Monday morning, November 2nd, 1908. His father's name was Johnson Glanville. his mother's maiden name was Mary Ann Pedlar. The father died in 1850, of cholera, leaving a young family for his widow to care for, and so it came that is devolved upon the subject of this obituary in company with other children to help provide for a family. For him it was work rather than play to begin life with. Thus he grew up a worker in an industrious reliable man. In 1864 he came to Linden; and on the 22nd of November, 1869, he married Miss Elizabeth Poad, who survives him, but at present is very feeble by reason of long illness. To the union two children were born, Josephine, now Mrs. S. Launder, and Archibald, who still lives at home.
