Mary Fryatt was born between 1773 and 1774 at Ipswich, SFK, ENG.She married Robert Cooke Glanfield, son of Roger Glanfield and Elizabeth Cook, on 23 February 1794 at St Mary at Quay, Ipswich, SFK, ENG, Robert Cooke Glanfield and Mary Fryatt.
She died circa February 1864 at Ipswich registered, SFK, ENG; recorded age 92.

Mary was probably related to Richard Fryatt, on whom the Ipswich Journal reported on 25 May 1799:Thursday morning last, Richard Fryatt, a tailor, in St. Clement's in this town, who was for a a considerable time a prisoner in France, being deranged in his intellects, hanged himself.
An inquest was held about the death on the 23 May, which recorded that he had "with a certain cord tied to a beam the other end about his own neck did fasten fix tye and fasten and therewith did hang himself of which said hanging suffocation and strangling the said Richd Fryatt then & there died .... the said Richd Fryatt not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted in manner and means aforesaid did kill himself."
