In the name of God Amen I Jeremiah Glanvill of Clifton in
the County of Oxford Carpenter being Sick and weak in Body but of Sound and
Disposing Mind and Memory I praise God for the same doe make and ordaine
this my last Will & testament in manner ffollowing (vizt) my Soul I commend to
Almight God hoping to be saved thro the merrits and mediation of my
Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ and my Body I commit to the Earth to be devoutly
interrred at the discretion of my Execurix hereinafter named And as for
Such Worldly Estate that God in his Mercy hath bestowed on me I thus
dispose thereof Imprimis I Give and Bequeath unto my Brothers
John Glanvill James Glanvill Richard Glanvill George Glanvill
ffrancis Glanvill and Joseph Glanvill one shilling apeice to be paid to
them within six months after my decease Item I Give and Bequeath
unto my sister Sarah the wife of William Child the sume of one shilling
to be paid to her within six months after my Decease Item I Give and
devise unto my loving wife Hannah All that my messuage or
Tenement and halfeyard land with the apptenances situate lyeing
and being in West Lsagborne? in the County of Berks (and which I lately
purchased of Mr John Eyrroll of Abingdon to me my heires and
Assignes and all other my ffreehold Lands tenemts and hereitamts whatsover
and wheresoever to hold to the said Hannah her heires and
Assignes forever Item all the rest and Residue of my Goods
Holds? personal Estate and premises whatsoever and wheresoever
I Give and Bequeath unto my said loving wife Hannah her Exer*s
Adm*s and Assignes But my Will is that my said loving wife shall out
of my said ffreehold Estate and out of my personal Estate in the
ffirst place pay my debts Legacys and ffunerall expenses and I hereby subject
my said ffreehold and personall Estate to the payment of the same and I do
hereby make and Ordaine my said loving wife Hannah sole Executrix of
this my last Will and Testamt here by Revoaking all fformer Wills by me
made In Testimony whereoff I the said Jeremiah Glanvill the Testator
have to this my last Will and Testamt put my hand and Seale this ffourth day
