In the name of God Amen this 22th
off ffebrurie 1629 I John Glanvill Marchine? Do make this my laft will {and teftament - words erased} in
manner and forme following ffirst I Commend my Soule into the hands of god hoping to be faved
by the atone merritts of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer And for my body I committ
it to the earth to be decently buried, and for this eftate wherewith it hath pleased god to bleffe
me I difpofe of it in manner and forme followinge I give unto my fifter Elizabeth Weld that
some of ffifth pounds which I * *** me from her hufband John Weld I give unto her those
Chifdren Elizabeth Weld, John Weld, and ffrancis Weld the fome of twenty marks a
peece And for the reft of my eftate unbequeathed I give unto my loving and deare mother Elizabeth
Shute whom I make and ordaine executix of this my laft will and teftament revoking all other
teftaments Wills and bequefts whatfoever In witness whereof I have sett to my hand and feale this
