On the 17th June 1815 admon *** the will annexed of the
goods of Samuel Glanvill formerly of Gittisham in the county of
Devon but late house steward to the Right Honble the Earl of
Bristol at Irkworth Park in the County of Suffolk deceased was
granted to Peter Glanville the natural & lawful brother and as
such one of the residuary legacees named in the said Will having
been first sworn by Comon (?) duly to adminster no executor.

This is my Will me Saml Glanvill of
Gittisham in the County of Devonshire knowing that it is
appointed for all men such to dye and after my decease and
burial I so give and coopurate my proper money and effects
to my dearly beloved brothers and sister and at this time I do
leave one thousand five hundred pounds £1500 in the 3 per
cent consolidated annuities in the Bank of England to my
dearly beloved brother Peter Glanvill I do give and bequeath
£600 - 3 per cent consolidated and to my dearly beloved brother
William Glanvill and to my dearly beloved sister Rebecca
Glanvill now Rebecca Willsman I do give and bequeath
£300 3 per cent consolidated and if either of my brothers
sister should die and leave no hier and then the portion of
the deceased shall be divided between the two survivors - Signed
by me - Saml Glanvill.

At Ickworth House, Mr. Samuel Glanville, butler to the Earl of Bristol, in whose family he had been a faithful servant upwards of 40 years, 70.
