Craig Barton Glanville, 80, of West Linn, Oregon, passed away on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2024, at his home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.
Craig was born on April 4, 1944, in Portland, Oregon, to Al and Genevieve Glanville. He was raised alongside his sister Cheryl and brothers Brian and Mike.
In 1963, Craig married his beloved Diane, and together they shared 60 years of love and companionship. Craig was a devoted father to Bob Glanville of Otis, OR, and Michelle Glanville of West Linn, OR. He was also a proud grandfather to Kayla Glanville, Kai Brusa, Taylor Brusa, Kaleb Brusa, and their partners.
Craig graduated from Cleveland High School in Portland, OR. He dedicated 30 years of his life to public service as a deputy sheriff with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon City.
In his leisure time, Craig enjoyed spending time with his family. He cherished vacations in Palm Springs and La Quinta, CA, as well as Black Butte Ranch, OR. He also enjoyed spending summer seasons over the past decade with his family vacationing in the Lincoln City region of the central Oregon coast. For many years, Craig was an avid golfer and tennis player. Known for his witty sense of humor and generous heart, he will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Oregon City on Wednesday, June 12th. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place directly after the Mass at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Oregon City.

Salt Lake City, UT—Dianne passed peacefully with her grandson Andrew and his wife Acacia by her side. Dianne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked for many years at the University of Utah as the manager of Accounts Payable and Property Management. After she and her husband retired they had many adventures in their motorhome as they traveled around the country. Dianne also enjoyed taking her therapy dog Molly to visit special needs children.
Dianne is preceded in death by her husband Mark Douglas Glanville, father Gerwin Pratt Bailey, mother Bertha Elisabeth Bennett Bailey, sister Donna Kaswan, brothers Robert Bennett Bailey, and Richard Chappell Bailey. She is survived by sons Dean (Sharon), Jeff (Barbara), grandchildren Megan, Kevin, Andrew, great grandchild Audrey, and brother Gerald Harrison Bailey.
In keeping with Dianne's wishes there will be no services and her body has been donated to science. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to homeless children or the charity of your choice.
